Richard is a 2nd dan in Ju-jitsu, a 2nd Dan in Kickboxing and is also proficient in Kubudo Jutsu. He has been practicing martial arts for 10 years & is a dedicated Student who has matured into an excellent Coach.

Richard has received many awards in both arts they include :-

F.S.K. Champion 2003

Demaa student of the year 2003

Demaa competition fighter of the year 2004

Fist English champion 58kg

UKMAR competition fighter of year 2004

Northern Counties PRO AM Champion 2006

Selected for WOMAA Great Britain Squad in Light Continuous Kickboxing to attend the World Games in Ireland 2007

Richard at present has had over 30 fights in light continuous and has had some full contact bouts with success in both. Holding a impressive fight record, he is now looking at taking on the World scene in full contact & light continuous.

Became a member of the White Scorpian Fight Management Team in Feb 2007.

Has been invited to train as a BFKKO Official.

Richard has taught on an International Course in Lanzarote where he took his 2nd Dan Kickboxing
